Pinecrest
is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated cemeteries in the
South. Founded in 1929 by John C. Thomas, Sr., Pinecrest continues
to be owned and operated by the Thomas Family. Betty Finley,
granddaughter of Mr. Thomas is the President.
Located at the geographical center of the State of Arkansas, Pinecrest
offers peace and a commitment to caring for the resting place of your
loved ones. Our winding avenues are overlooked by gently rolling
lawns, with an abundance of trees, wildlife and nature, which enhance the scenic natural peace and beauty of the gardens and
landscape. The cemetery contains 220 acres with approximately 100
acres developed. There are 22 gardens, Lawn Crypts, Mausoleums,
Family Estate Garden, Cremation Gardens and many other feature
gardens. Many of the gardens have features that were hand carved
and imported from Carra, Italy.
Our
Veterans Field of Honor (two gardens) allow survivors of armed
services veterans to commemorate their loved ones. American Flags
are proudly displayed when there is a Veteran service, on Memorial Day,
Flag Day and Veterans Day. The statute of the four branches of
services honors all veterans.
Pinecrest is truly a place
to pause and reflect on the beauty of nature,
and in God's promise of eternal life.
Pinecrest is a Non-denominational Cemetery and is open to all
faiths.
Pinecrest is a Member of the
ICFA - Cemetery Exchange Program.
